Hongkai ZHANG was born in China. He has lived in Beijing since 1991. While studing architecture at the Beijing University of Technology he began to learn photography . He started his magazine editorial work in 2004. Before becoming a professional photographer in 2008, he has worked in China Architecture Design & Research Group as an architect for 9 years.Kai's works are bold and innovative, largely using shadow and light to create the rhythm from heart.
